Registry of bone marrow donors: Today and Tomorrow

On 13–14 November 2018 the all-Russian conference with international participation “Registry of bone marrow donors: Today and Tomorrow”, organized by Rusfond and Kazan (Privolzhsky) Federal University (KFU), was held in Kazan.
The conference was attended by representatives of the KFU and Rusfond, charity funds and patient organizations, doctors, employees of registries and laboratories from Russia, Armenia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands. The development of an unrelated bone marrow donorship, the organization of the work of the registry of bone marrow donors in Russia, the role of patient organizations and NGOs, donorship of bone marrow in laws, special aspects of potential donors recruiting are just a few topics among those stated in the program.
